Step into Your Moxie® Speak-Up and Influence

In Step into Your Moxie® Speak Up and Influence, leaders and team members strengthen their inner and outer voice so that they can speak up for themselves and the ideas and issues that matter most to your company. Through a mix of coaching, training, role play, and small and full group conversation, participants will develop the mindset, skill set, and habits to boost their communication confidence so they can speak with power and impact and move people to take action whenever they speak.

By the end of this experience, participants will be able to:

  • Reframe diminishing self-talk so that it supports rather than undermines communication confidence

  • Harness a “Yes And” attitude and play nicely with feelings that come up when presenting ideas and navigating uncomfortable situations

  • Minimize vocalized thinking and amplify their speaking presence to increase credibility, likeability, and trust

  • Call people to take action on ideas in low and high stakes speaking situations (i.e., team meetings, project pitches, or presentations)

  • Address common pain points and personal motivators that get in the way of people taking action

  • Articulate their value and go after visibility opportunities that position them/your company as thought leaders

Becoming a Totally Responsible Person®

Many companies want to build an organizational culture of accountability, cooperation, and teamwork. In Becoming a Totally Responsible Person®, participants explore how to stay positive, productive and effective no matter what the circumstances. Participants will learn innovative and proven ways to move away from blame and judgment and gain the confidence and tools needed to interact with others in more positive, constructive and respectful ways.

We may not always be able to control our circumstances, but we can control how we handle them. This workshop teaches participants to look at their own attitudes and actions and realize that staying positive is a choice for which only they are accountable. This insight will not only impact the business and the people around them but their satisfaction and well-being in every aspect of their lives.

Becoming a Totally Responsible Person® empowers participants to:

  • Be responsible for their moods, attitudes, emotions and behaviors.

  • Influence others without rescuing or enabling their negative behaviors and attitudes.

  • Eradicate gossip and criticism in the workplace, along with whining, complaining and blaming.

  • Identify and eliminate limiting beliefs that limit personal and organizational effectiveness.

  • Hold more impactful, productive conversations that demonstrate ownership and accountability.

    Today’s complex and uncertain times require leaders to act in ambiguous situations. This interactive experience helps participants identify their own qualities of resilient leadership and explore how to remain effective in the face of change and opportunity, in such a way that others want to follow them as their leader.

  • Performance Feedback

    For managers and supervisors, this half-day interactive experience helps participants build confidence and skill in giving the “gift” of positive and corrective feedback. Format includes a case study and practical application on participants’ current feedback scenarios.

    Fostering leadership and problem-solving skills in others are critical skills for today’s managers. This half-day interactive experience describes the “coaching mindset” and provides immediately useable tools for listening deeply, asking questions and guiding employee’s growth and success.

  • The Art and Science of Facilitation

    From group facilitation to running meetings, participants will learn best practices for increasing engagement and results. This course includes a facilitator skills assessment, and approaches for both in-person and online facilitation success.

  • Effective Interviewing
